A Labor Day tradition will return to Florissant for a third straight year as the Tour de Florissant will be the final leg of the prestigious Gateway Cup again for 2026! In 2024 and 2025 over 1,000 cyclists from all over the world have traveled to Florissant to participate in one of the hardest courses in the country. Thousands of spectators showed up to watch the exciting action as well. For 2026 the course will remain the same as last year and the historic character of Old Town Florissant will be on full display with the route starting at Florissant City Hall and going by Old Town landmarks such as Henke's Tavern, Hendel's Restaurant, Sacred Heart Church, and Made. by Lia.
