Public Schools in Florissant

Florissant is served by two award-winning public school districts for children in preschool through grade 12. These are Ferguson-Florissant School District, and Hazelwood School District.

Those living in the Ferguson-Florissant school district have the option to attend the highly acclaimed STEAM Academy as well which is for students in Middle School and High School. Conveniently located just 5 minutes from Old Town Florissant, STEAM Academy’s accelerated pace and real-world approach to education has earned it the title of 2nd highest ranked Middle School in all of Missouri.

For Career and Technical Education, North Tech High School works with a variety of business and industry partners that provide students with experience before graduation.

Florissant is served by eight private or parochial schools for children in preschool through grade 12. These include North County Christian School, Sacred Heart Catholic School, All Saints Academy at St. Norbert, Gateway Legacy Christian Academy, Grace Christian Academy, St. Ferdinand School, and Atonement Lutheran School.
