New Events, New Businesses, and New Beginnings

The first Tour de Florissant – Missouri State Championship bike races were a big success. The City only had one month to plan for this, and we received some great positive feedback from Big Shark Bicycle Company and USA Cycling about the City of Florissant and their desire to return. We are hopeful with more time to plan and promote it we can make it even bigger and better in the future. Event sponsored by Big Shark, St. Louis.

After the races USA Cycling surveys their participants and they gave us some great feedback that I thought was interesting and show why events like this are important to promote Florissant: 70% of the riders said it was their first time in Florissant, 92% said they should keep developing this event in Florissant, and 79% said they visited a Florissant restaurant or business while they were here.

This should be going to the City Council at the next meeting. This is their first in North County and it will be the first majority female owned Sugarfire. The new restaurant at 1290 N.
